How to Install and Use FR Configurator SW3 for Mitsubishi Inverters

Installation

To install FR Configurator SW3, follow these steps:

Insert the installation CD-ROM into your PC.

The setup wizard will start automatically. If not, open the CD-ROM drive and double-click Setup.exe.

Select your language and click Next.

Read and accept the license agreement and click Next.

Select the destination folder and click Next.

Select the components you want to install and click Next.

Select the start menu folder and click Next.

Select whether to create a desktop icon and click Next.

Click Install to start the installation.

When the installation is complete, click Finish.

Usage

To use FR Configurator SW3, you need to connect your PC to the inverter using one of the following methods:

RS-485: Connect the RS-485 cable between the PC's serial port and the inverter's RS-485 terminal block.

CC-Link: Connect the CC-Link cable between the PC's CC-Link card and the inverter's CC-Link terminal block.

Start FR Configurator SW3 from the start menu or the desktop icon.

Select your communication method and settings from the Communication menu.

Click Connect to establish a connection with the inverter.
